Our Mission

1. People

Improving the standard of living of our cocoa bean producers :
  • They receive a « Quality Bonus » when they sell their cocoa beans to the Dolfin fermentation center.
  • A « Chocolate Bonus » is also given to them (0,10€/kg of purchased chocolate). Thanks to that, each year, the collected amount will allow projects to be carried out within the Community (schools, clinics, maternity hospitals, access to water, …).

2. Planet

Through its project, Dolfin ensures that good agricultural practices are established for the production of its cocoa beans. Dolfin also aims to plant shade trees, which will make it possible to reforest the surrounding areas of crops. What’s more, we are reducing plastic use by 80% with the new FSC cardboard packagings of our chocolate bars! In addition, the transparent boxes that contain some of our chocolates are now made of recycled PET and 100% recyclable!

3. Quality

The fresh cocoa beans sold by the farmers are rigorously selected. They are then fermented in the Dolfin fermentation center, located in Ivory Coast, which guarantees a better control of the flavours in our chocolate. The expertise of all stakeholders throughout the production chain, as well as highly controlled fermentation, results in a more developed aromatic profile. At Dolfin, we only use top quality ingredients of natural origin. This is how Dolfin offers you exceptional chocolate!

À travers le projet Cocoa Act 4, notre objectif est de mettre en place un traçage de nos fèves à 100%, des champs jusqu’à la tablette! À travers son projet, Dolfin s’assure que de bonnes pratiques agricoles sont mises en place pour la production de ses fèves de cacao. Dolfin a aussi pour objectif de planter des arbres à ombrage, ce qui permettra de reboiser les alentours des cultures. Et en plus, nous réduisons de 80% l’utilisation du plastique grâce aux nouvelles pochettes en carton FSC de nos tablettes de chocolat !

3. Quality

Les fèves fraîches vendues par les producteurs sont sélectionnées de manière rigoureuse. Elles sont ensuite fermentées dans un centre de fermentation Dolfin, situé en Côté d’Ivoire, ce qui garantit un meilleur contrôle des arômes de notre chocolat. L’expertise de l’ensemble des parties prenantes, tout au long de la chaine de production, ainsi qu’une fermentation hautement contrôlée, donnent lieu à un profil aromatique plus développé. Chez Dolfin, nous n’utilisons que des ingrédients de qualité supérieure et d’origine naturelle. C’est ainsi que Dolfin vous offre un chocolat d’exception!

Through the Cocoa Act 4 project, our objective is to implement 100% traceability of our beans, from the field to the shelf! Our commitments are clear, concrete and measurable and will be the subject of an annual report. They can be consulted easily and at any time on our website and thanks to our QR code.
